Felicia volume 2

Matilda Betham Edwards was a novelist, poet and travel writer from Ipswich who published a range of books, many of which are set in France.

Her novel "Felicia" was published in 1875 in three volumes. This listing is for volume 2 only.

This book has brown cloth covers with the title in black embossed lettering on the front and gilt lettering on the spine, with black decorative illustrations also on the front cover and spine. The corners of the front and the top of the spine are a little bumped.

Inside the spine is in relatively good condition, the binding is secure and all pages are present. The pages are mostly clean, with one or two pencil marks highlighting certain sections. The text block is roughly cut on one edge and there are is the occasional small tear in the top of one or two pages.

Inside the first page is an inked dedication that reads "May Claydon, June 10th 1879".

Overall this book is in good condition for its age and should last many more years.
