A vintage postcard from the 1930s, showing the altar at Sandringham Church in Norfolk on the front and a written message on the back.
This vintage postcard doesn't have a specific date written on it, but the stamp is a "Silver Jubilee" one for King George V, which was released in 1935, and the number "35" can be seen on the franking mark.
The message on the back is addressed to "Miss Nicholls" at Thornton Heath in Surrey, from someone called "Ella". In her message Ella says that she and her mother went to Sandringham where they saw the King's car, but were not close enough to see the King himself. She also states that she will be returning by train the next day.
